Plan your visit

Mono is a Glasgow cafe-bar and live-music venue that opened in 2002, with gigs and events alongside vegan food and drink. The venue says it hosts exhibitions, readings, art performances and workshops, and describes its kitchen as fully vegan. It is in Kings Court; the venue lists nearby subway, rail and bus connections. Access information is area-specific: street-level entry and the customer toilet are wheelchair accessible, some dining areas use a ramp, and the stage area is not wheelchair accessible during normal service, although event adjustments may be possible.^[1]

Do

For travel planning, Mono lists nearby public transport: St Enoch subway station, Argyle Street railway station, and bus stops including King Street, Osborne Street, Trongate and Saltmarket.^[1]
Contact Mono to ask about access, assistance, facilities such as toilets and table service, or the needs of a group with accessibility concerns.^[1]
If you need a PA or companion ticket, contact the venue in advance to arrange one; Mono says these are offered free for events whenever possible.^[1]

Don’t

Do not assume the stage area is wheelchair accessible during normal service; Mono says event adjustments, including a temporary ramp, may be possible.^[1]
